Our Mission
In 2019, Dragon Off Grid founder Matt Leach designed a portable “Battery Backup Box” to support the local community where the massive wildfires and politics caused PG&E to routinely shut off the power to thousands of residents.
These power boxes provided more power than retail portable products could manage and that along with consulting on use, Dragon Energy Boxes began being used in emergency situations such as CPAP backup, internet access to critical applications and even local business use for security operations.
In 2021 Dragon Off Grid developed a 3rd iteration of the Power Boxes with more improved features and functionality. See the "Portable Electric Generators" page to learn more and see these products in action.
